Aspergers Syndrome

Asperger’s syndrome is a neurological disorder that is a part of the “autistic spectrum disorders”.

Asperger’s syndrome is evidenced by poor social interactions, obsessions, odd speech patterns and some peculiar mannerisms.

Children with Asperger’s syndrome have few facial expressions, experience difficulty reading the body language of others. They may also display an unusual sensitivity to sensory stimuli e.g. they may show unusual sensitivity to light which does not appear to be a bother to others.
