...for Children with Specific Learning Difficulties

Special Attention Project (SAP) is a Ghanaian Non-Governmental Organization that improves the lives of children with Specific Learning Difficulties by spreading information to the public, advocating for learning support for pupils with learning difficulties in mainstream schools, doing research and training on Specific Learning Difficulties as well as providing practical support to out-of-school children with learning difficulties in the streets of Accra.

"Road to Education" Campaign

Road to Education CampaignRoad to Education CampaignThousands of children in Ghana risk failing to reach an appropriate level of educational and professional attainment due to learning difficulties.

These children often face abuse and discrimination forcing many to drop out of school and migrate to the streets, becoming vulnerable to trafficking, violence, prostitution, drug abuse, gambling and stealing.

The campaign aims at raising funds to help SAP reach out to a number of out-of-school-children with learning difficulties for inclusion into mainstream education.

SAP through its Children’s Support Programme, provides practical support to about 120 out-of-school-children with learning difficulties in the streets of Accra.

The target for the fundraising campaign is GH₵50,000.00

To support the initiative, donors can contribute through SAP’s MTN Mobile Money on
